Cursed Mine Rush: El Dorado

This game is an attempt of mixing a Mexican Tradition, a Bolivian Mythology, a Muiscan Legend, and Latin American History. banana (don't mind the banana, was trying to cut off the Intro from being shown when hovering on the  thumbnail in the submission page)

Intro

It was on the Día De Los Muertos, a child was begging on the street and has finally received a small sum of money, yet seeing how everyone else was celebrating with offerings on their family altar, the child also decided to do as such with what they earned, their Abuelo's spirit seeing his grandchild in such condition decided to show himself and guide them to a certain mine filled with gold.

...or at least that's how the intro cutscene  in the game supposed to play out, and the rest of the story and hints are in the gameplay after, but we fudged up by joining when there's only 7 days left aeugh

Controls:

Play = Tap anywhere besides the UI (currencies bar, and upgrade icons)

Mine downward = Tap the bottom center area of the screen

Move/mine to the right = Tap the right side area of the screen

Move/mine to the left = Tap the left side area of the screen

Mine Above = Tap the upper center area of the screen

Trivia

There are some hints in the game (if it was finished) that led to certain names or pieces of the puzzle/curse mystery, we recommend checking these sites for them if you're interested :D
